A great article... and one of the posts (number 128) just goes to prove why completing metrication is so important. The author says she was in school in the 70's and 80's yet claims to have been educated in imperial. She says she measures herself in metric then says she uses feet and stones. She says that she thought that roadsigns were already in km. She buys 2 litre milk cartons but compares price by the pint (how?).

It took just one person to show how much of a muddle we're really in!!!

Evan Davis, BBC economics editor.
I'm glad that you support the SI /metric system. I wish it was BBC Policy to use only the official measurement system of this country which is the SI /metric system. If Imperial units were archived and the government decided to go fully metric it would significantly reduce the confusion that exists because of the two systems. Unfortunately not all the editors, producers, and presenters at the BBC have the wisdom to use metric units and 'Think Metric'.
